TCF
The TCF is an official test issued by the French Ministry of National Education. It is intended for all non-French speaking audiences who wish, for personal, professional or academic reasons, to have their knowledge of French validated in a simple, reliable and recognized manner.
Applicants receive a certificate of results which positions them, for each skill, on one of the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This certificate is valid for 2 years.
The TCF is available in different versions:
· TCF Tout Public: to assess one's skills in French for personal, professional or academic reasons.
· TCF Canada: to assess one's skills in French language for Canada’s immigration application.
· TCF DAP: to pursue higher education in France.
· TCF IRN: to justify your level of French in the context of a requesting or acquiring one of the following:
- French residency
- French nationality.
