Le G.R.E.C has been producing first shortmovies for 45 years.
Fictions, documentaries, expérimental movies, animated movies, art films,… All genres are admissible.
Since its creation in 1998 by Elisabeth Depardieu, emergence helps young actors and directors to develop their first full-length movie projects. Every year, the selected directors roll two clips from their screenplay, accompanied by a strong artistic and technical support.
The Artist-in-Residence program gives directors an opportunity to come in our studio for one year to make a personal five minutes animation film (all techniques except 3D) that combines comedy and humor, intended for 5 to 7 y-o. Applicants, who must have already directed one or two short films, can submit a project with a real author’s point of view and develop original graphics.
The Résidence du Festival welcomes every year a dozen young directors who work there on their first or second fictional feature film project, in two sessions lasting four and a half months (from October 1st to mid-February, and from the end of February to mid-July).
