DELF & DALF
DELF and DALF are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of National Education, to certify language skills in French.
Suitable for all ages and all profiles, the offer is compatible with the the 6-level scale of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
DELF-DALF diplomas are independent: you can therefore sit for the exam of your choice, depending on your level.
At level B2, the DELF allows the candidate to submit applications for higher studies in a French-speaking university.
At each level, the 4 language skills are assessed: listening and speaking, reading comprehension and writing. These diplomas, recognized at international level, are valid for life.
DELF is available in different versions:
DELF-DALF Tout Public: The DELF and DALF Tout Public aims for adults who wish to certify their French language skills. This version is the only one to offer tests at all levels (A1 to C2).
DELF scolaire: This version of DELF is built on the same structure as DELF version for all ages. Only the themes differ.
DELF Prim: constitutes the first step in the DELF-DALF series. The tests are developed on the same model as the adult version of the DELF, but the themes are adapted to young beginner learners of French as a foreign language (6-11 years old).
